Planning a weekly menu is a good idea, especially when your time pressured or new to preparing whole food meals. Planning ahead also helps to incorporate lots of variety between meals which is vital for good health.
Each season we will format nourishing eating plans for Monday through to Friday. This will include suggestions for breakfast, the lunch box and dinner. I make lunch boxes each day for not only my children but also for my husband and myself. It takes little more effort as I’m doing it any way for the children. Plus it removes the stress of thinking about what to eat for lunch knowing something healthy is ready to grab.
