Natural, Drug-free Pain Relief

November 22, 2017 | Exercise & Movement

PainPod - Natural, Drug-free Pain Relief

I’m so excited to share with you an amazing piece of technology that has really changed my life – actually, not only my own but my whole families (plus I have a very special offer below too). For the past year or so I have suffered with a sometimes debilitating pain in the upper thoracic region of my spine and neck. I’m not going to bore you with the long list of various treatments and therapies I’ve tried, other than to say that whilst many have helped me manage my pain, none have bought me ongoing and lasting relief, until now.

An All Natural, Drug-free Pain Relief

A few months ago I was offered an all natural, drug-free pain relief device called PainPod to try. I’ve been in the business of healthcare for a lot of years now and I’m the biggest skeptic. But after chatting with the lovely owner of this innovative, Australian company, I was intrigued and thought it was worth a shot. And I’m so glad I did because it really has delivered a level of lasting relief for which I am eternally grateful. The thing I love most about PainPod is that it just fits into my busy lifestyle. I can use it to bring relief anytime, whilst I’m working, preparing a meal, driving the kids about after school or relaxing watching my favourite Netflix series at night. It hasn’t added another ‘to-do’ to my already lengthy list.

Not only has it helped me, but my whole family including hubby who is recovering from a  serious surfing trauma. Also my sporty kids love to use it regularly for their various aches (after a hard training session or competition) and also growing pains. Even my lovely neighbour is using it for debilitating neck pain as I write (early reports are also very positive).

Pain Wears you Down

Pain of any sort is just awful, chronic pain is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Modern medicine has many effective drugs to help combat pain, however ALL of them come with a host of serious side effects. Even over the counter medications are simply not a safe solution. However now having a first hand knowledge of ongoing pain, I do understand the desperation and despair to find a solution.

The naturopathic approach to pain is certainly a lot safer, but generally doesn’t bring the acute relief pharmaceuticals do. There are many great herbs that can help to address the root cause of the pain. Certainly the foods we eat can help to modulate inflammatory responses and bring a degree of relief.

2 in 5 of us have been shown to have aches, pain and discomfort every day, 1 in 5 have chronic pain. 9 out of 10 of us will suffer with back pain at some point. It’s not just the pain itself that impairs us, living in constant pain causes anxiety, depression, social isolation, low self-esteem and relationship breakdowns. For this reason, I’ve decided to share this brilliant pain relieving device with you.

What is PainPod?

PainPod is a portable physical therapy medical device offering natural drug-free pain relief, recovery and performance benefit to athletes and anyone, of any age, wanting pain relief. From kids with growing pains, athletes looking to improve performance and recovery, to those rehabilitating after injury or trauma and even pregnant women (it’s great for labour pain) – PainPod has so many applications.

How does it work?

Pain is felt when pain receptors in the affected area deliver pain signals to the brain via the Central Nervous System. The PainPod works by delivering small bio-electrical nerve stimulation pulses through the skin to the nerve endings in the affected area, blocking the pain signals from travelling to the brain.

This signal blocking is similar to how most pain medications work but without the need to ingest chemicals. PainPod closes the gate on the pain messages, allowing you to sleep, work, and exercise, potentially free of constant pain and discomfort.

The PainPod proprietary biotechnology in every unit combines unique frequency treatment formulations with fast acting advanced waveforms that precisely block the pain messages to the brain also helping the body release endorphins reducing perception of pain.

At the same time, gentle, pleasant bio-pulses pass through the body increasing blood-flow and improve circulation, speeding the body’s natural healing process. Medically researched and expertly engineered, these relaxing, PainPod exclusive treatment modalities provide effectiverelief from almost all pain types including acute, chronic, dental and labour pain. I personally love the acupuncture setting.

Biologically body friendly and sleek design, the PainPod can be used on almost any area of the body, lower back, arms, legs, stomach, feet or shoulders. The PainPod has a range of 12 treatments with 20 intensity settings including acupuncture and massage modes meaning you simply have the power to take control and take your life back.
